Q: What is the Holographic Summit?
A: Holographic Summit is a conference covering computer generated holograms, novel holographic processes, immersive media, 3D and novel displays, integral imaging, compressive holography, full-field tomography, interferometry, phase microscopy, augmented reality, virtual reality, and holography with various light sources including coherent to incoherent and X-ray to terahertz waves. Most of the technology discussed are those that do *not* require a wearable device. We see this as the future.


Q: Who attends the Holographic Summit?
A: Holographic Summit attendance is for video card manufacturers, venture capitalists, AI exectuives, AR/VR professionals, museum and other large space administrators , entertainment professionals , developers and film makers.


Q: Why should I attend?
A: As our conference page says, the market for digital holographics is changing rapidly. This is the forum for decision makers in the entertainment and gaming space where business gets done directly with innovators in digital holographics. Entertainment executives meet with new digital holographic firms to see their tech and find the construction modification costs estimated to employ it within a theatre. Game Developers also meet with them to develop new games. Professionals in the medical industry connect with the industry. Manufacturers meet with holographic and AR/VR companies to improve manufacturing methods. Filmmakers learn of new 3D methods of production. Venture capitalists meet with startup and mid-size firms. Mergers and acquisitions originate at this event. New technologiies are debated at the event and executives act on what they see.


Q: What can I expect at the trade show?
A: Attending Holographic Summit is certainly a different experience for most, if not all delegates. This is a serious event for holographic and immersive media professionals and all delegates attending treat it as such. Business negotiations also take place during networking sessions. The seminars at the event are designed to discusss current issues, strategies and new technologies to run their operations more efficienly. Networking at Holographic Conference with other delegates, like yourself, has been found to be most productive in discovering new opportunities. For this to work best for you, it requires that you will need to be assertive and introduce yourself to other delegates at the event.


Q: How much does it cost to register and what does a registration pass include?
A: If you register early, you will save the most. The registration fee goes up every week or two. After May 30, 2017, the cost increases to USD $1250. A registration pass includes access to Holographic Summit exhibit hall at the The Sportsmen's Lodge Events Center, Holographic Summit seminars as well as most of Holographic Summit associated social events taking place during the event. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided for both days. Lunch is provided.


Q: What if I want to register in person at the conference?
A: At-Door registration begins on at 7:45 AM. We recommend you get there early as there may be a long line of people looking to purchase passes at the front door. That is why we recommend registering for Holographic Conference online early. You save both money and time at the event.


Q: Will you be mailing me my badge or do I pick it up at the The Sportsmen's Lodge Events Center?
A: You must pick up your badge at the conference registration desk the morning of the event. Please bring government issued photo identificaiton (for verification purposes only). Registration badges are not mailed.


Q: What if I lose my badge during the convention?
A: At this event your badge is your access to Holographic Summit. With it, you can enter the exhibit hall, the seminar rooms and attend other outside social events. Badges cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. If you need to purchase a replacement badge at the event the cost will be USD 1250.


Q: Do you offer discounted passes for the exhibit hall only?
A: No. The conference pass includes all that was stated above. There is only one registration fee.


Q: Do you offer single day passes? Is the admission price for one day or all days?
A: The admission price is for all days. There are no day passes.


Q: What if I want to meet someone at the Holographic Summit that has no badge and does not plan to register for the trade show?
A: This is a closed event. The exhibit hall, seminar rooms, meeting rooms and some areas of The Sportsmen's Lodge Events Center will be the forum where Holographic Summit delegates conduct business. Only Holographic Summit registrants will be allowed in these areas with NO exceptions.


Q: Do you provide a list of the the delegate names and companies?
A: No. This convention is attended by wealthy entrepreneurs and senior executives that do not wish to give out their names or contact details to others they do not know.


Q: Do I have to give you my real name? I don't want it to appear on my badge.
A: We require your real first and last name for identification purposes only. We will place the name you would like to appear on the badge at the registration desk.


Q: I am from another country and require a Visa to go to the trade show. How do I get a Visa Invitation letter from Holographic Summit?
A: You must first register for your conference pass. Upon receipt of payment, email us a request for a visa invitation letter. Please include your name, full mailing address and fax number. We will then fax you the invitation letter.


Q: I am from the media. Do you offer media passes to the convention?
A: If you are with the major media (examples are: USA Today, National Public Radio, Die Welt, the Washington Post, the New York Times, etc.), then email us with your name, the name and address of the media publication, the name of your editor and his contact details. Upon confirmation, we will contact you and advise if you are approved to have a media pass to the event. If you are an industry or trade publication, please note that we have pre-arranged co-promotional agreements with other trade publications. Our co-promotional agreements are done months in advance. If you are contacting us for the first time just prior to the event, you will need to register and pay for your pass.


Q: I am a student. Do you offer special academic rates to the trade show?
A: Our only rates are shown on the registation page. They increase as the event gets closer. We strongly recommend early registration as that will save you the most amount of money.


Q: I pre-registered and I'm unable to attend. Can I get a refund?
A: No. All sales are final and there is no refund for cancellation. Our cancellation policy is listed on the terms and conditions page for registering at the event.
